Equipment and fittings of this sort do not generally receive the regular maintenance they should. This results in premature wear, leaks, breakage of gaskets and plastic parts, oxidation, etc. Luckily, replacement parts do exist and installing them is usually not an impossible task...
In these photos we have some examples of operations carried out: on the Grand Soleil 50', replacement of stanchion bases; Swan 60’, replacement of fixed windows; replacement of some Gallinea marine window wiper parts on a Mochi 51; replacement of all components including systems and creation of a window washing line for classic wooden craft.
